I don't understand. Why on Earth would they NOT be charged!? One man died, two are still on life support and suffered 3rd degree burns on most of their bodies. Not to mention the 200+ homes lost, and all of the evacuees that were forced from their homes. And still waiting on the names...

Two of my friends were badly burned running from this fire. They're on life support in Irvine, and they might not make it. These punk ass kids, they're not young adults to me, should absolutely be charged, and their names released immediately. Besides the elderly man that died, Lance and Carla and their 3rd degree burns, how about the 200 homes that burned down? The massive evacuations, the Red Cross shelters? We're humans, and we make mistakes, but this is just sheer stupidity, plain and simple.

"great - let's allow gays to marry so they can more easily divorce. ( Assuming there are children involved this is a greeat benefit to society)"
Because straight people NEVER get divorced. Oh wait... what's the divorce rate in this nation, >60%??

If a Prop 8 supporter could present to me a logical argument as to why gay marriage should not be allowed, I'd sit down and listen to them. But by logical, I mean an argument that isn't based on religion (because religion has no place in our State Constitution), or opinion. Just because you don't like something, doesn't mean it's wrong. No on Prop 8, Equal rights for ALL!!!

For the ladies that were concerned about the tampons, you should check out the Diva Cup! It's the most environmentally friendly way to deal with you period. Not to mention it's much cheaper, and no risk of Toxic Shock Syndrom. I use one and I'll honestly never go back to tampons, yuck. (i'm not paid by the company or anything, i just try to let every woman I meet know about it)

Thank GOD!!! As an EMT myself, I couldn't be happier for the hard working men and women that work for AMR. The only reason I've never worked on an ambulance is because of AMR's crappy pay. You can make $9.25 starting at In and Out, or you can make $8 something an hour working your booty off, potentially saving lives all day long. Congrats EMT's and Medics, you deserve it!!

So Judge Ochoa reduced her 6 year, 4 month sentence to 5 years probation. Judge Lodge is turning in his grave right now!! That's a GREAT idea! So when you are drunk and kill someone, just get knocked up and you're set. 5 years probation, that just makes me want to vomit.

Here's an article I'll pay attention to, it's from the American Cancer Society, not wikipedia. I've copied/pasted a key paragraph, in case you don't feel like reading the entire article.
"This is the first [epidemiological] study to examine whether smoking marijuana increases risk of head and neck cancers," said Zuo-Feng Zhang, MD, lead author of the study and member of the Jonsson Cancer Center at the University of California Los Angeles. "Most people don’t think about marijuana in relationship to cancer. The carcinogens in marijuana are stronger than those in tobacco. The big message here is marijuana, like tobacco, can cause cancer."

Or... become vegetarian, and you can continue to watch your "beautiful" turkey, instead of killing it. It's a win-win.
