Southern California has funky pockets.....conventional SB not being one of them. (grime zone included)

I agree with Jessica´s comment about the round the world jetting negating the product´s green claim. The green revolution is just marketing 101.....create a need: "save the world" and invent a product that is perceived to satisfy that need.

6 billion little piglets consuming like southern californians buying little packaged salads is just not sustainable....that is the bottom line.

A POEM FOR THE GRIEVING...
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die...

I am so sorry to hear about Louie. Thank goodness you were able to save Liam. Have you heard about having a pet´s ashes turned into gemstones? I like the idea of memorializing a beloved pet.......So, so sorry to hear about your loss.

We are exhausting the supply of eccentric, deep pocketed developers who are crazy and masochistic enough to attempt redeveloping the MM....... I suppose if the status quo of having an abandoned motor hotel appeals to the community more than a redeveloped site, then fine. Otherwise, let the guy redevelop people. Montecito and SB are stage sets......with their imagined past´s created only through developer´s past interventions. Present day Miramar is a prop that kills Montecito´s fascistly imposed and staged agrarian self image.

I don´t think the words "freeway" and "small-town" belong in the same story. Is Coast Village Road the "Main Street" of this imagined "ville?" Get real people. There are probably little purple pills for your dissonant self-image...freeway-front SoCal, imagined as the road less traveled.
Three Cheers for the Miramar Solution! Booooo to high-minded agents of the status quo.

Ganna Walska, AND Eucalyptus trees are both non-native. Let´s ask the county supervisors if this subjects Lotusland and ALL Euc trees in SB county to be in violation of Historic Preservation interests, and subject to demolition, like the Botanic Garden platform. Hey, wait.....are the County Supervisors even native to SB County?!

Oxnard isn´t exactly left-coast....It´s more like Bentonville, Arkensas By-The-Sea. I think they kill you for other reasons there too....like for driving a mercedes, or being from montecito.
