I'd LOVE to see the presentation, but evidently it's not platform-independent :(
How about something not specific to PCs?

As usual, the Perpetually Outraged have had their say, on both sides of the fence. Y'all need to chill-- and allow people who LIVE IN OLDTOWN to have a say. This includes me, a non-Latina, and my neighbors who are more recent. Some of you seem to forget who owned California before we Anglos got here. So get real, get over it, and move on with some constructive things to do with your time.
I wholeheartedly agree with the needs expressed by the folks Uribe interviewed. I lived in Goleta when Kellog tract was developed. There went the neighborhood <grin>. The County of SB didn't really care about Goleta, and it shows in the lack of drainage, lighting, and parking, not to mention trees and planning, in Old Town. We can only hope the City of Goleta will do better.
That will involve input from all of us. ALL. As in RESIDENTS. Not just the few landlords who rent substandard housing. Not those across the freeway who don't care about Old Town. Those of us who own and rent in Old Town.
How about it, City of Goleta? Give us something substantive on _this_ side of the freeway. Make it safe, well-lighted, and pedestrian friendly!

Let's elect someone who will not confuse residents' desires for private home remodels with the greedy landlords who want to cram in more renters. Is Easton that man?
Oldtown needs someone who will stand up to the proliferation of renters, cars, raucous parties, and noise that is Oldtown's current burden.
Ed Easton, please tell us you are that man!

Unconscionable. Unbelievable. Indefensible. Outrageous! They ought to be ashamed. Just ashamed.

I grew up here. It's _always_ been Goletans, until Uribe began writing.
