The title of this article conjures up rather pugnacious imagery.
I was half-expecting a YouTube link...

Couldn't agree more. Wellman is THE MAN.
Everyone else does a great job too. And I loved John Goodman as "Walter" in "The Big Lebowksi."

Great. Looking forward to seeing the human traffic double in an already popular and over-crowded spot.
Thanks for sharing.

Drove by these lights earlier tonight. Completely obnoxious. Naples has been *shut down* - no cars at the usual 'parking lot' across 101 earlier today.
Woe be the surfers; hey, they've only been using it for decades.

Although you are proud to claim "tolerance" as one of your virtues, you will find yourself very intolerant of me. I will dredge out your hypocrisy for all to see.'

Oh Ray, why do you tease us with this lush scenery when in reality, right now it's as dry as a bone... :)
If you keep publishing all the desirable hiking spots, pretty soon everything will be over-run by the masses. Do you ever experience feelings of "hiking localism" ?
Just curious.

I don't that I've ever read a more inane and ignorant comment, @Ashaw. There are no Mexican drug cartels operating on the Cold Springs trail, as I'm sure you would know if you had EVER hiked it.
Not only did you fail to add any worth to this article, you've embarrassed yourself and made it clear that your opinions are meaningless.
Thanks, Ray, I enjoyed the article!

Initially a little leary of the article's potential as an advertisement, but very thoughtfully written with interesting content, and the map looks like a phenomenal resource. Pretty cool. Think I'll go find myself one of these today.
Gracias, Ray!
