I'd like to offer my condolences to the friends and family. The TV series "Crash" on Starz had a recent episode where a character allegedly committed suicide from the Cold Springs Bridge. The series takes place in Los Angeles but the character drove up to Santa Barbara. I just hope viewers don't get the same idea since suicide is such a tragedy.

Is this the same skateboarding area that was called the "Flybowl" in the late 1980's?

Can Santa Barbara County pass a law to make it a felony to set a bonfire unless you are literally two feet from the ocean? Why would anyone even want to light a bonfire while it was unseasonably warm? I am amazed at the stupidity of today's youth. I hope they each receive jail time and millions of hours of community service to rebuild all of the lives they shattered.

The AS Program Board said that the discussion is at 4:00 p.m. and not 3:30 pm this Sunday. I'm a fan of Tunick's work and am excited to attend.

They should show her current mugshot next to that Summer Solstice parade photo that the police were using to identify her. It's amazing they recognized her after all these years. The "Johns" such as Eliot Spitzer should serve time too.

Why didn't they call 911 instead of a taxi? I hope he recovers and that the culprit is locked up.

Finally some local reporting on the huge scandal. It's pathetic that any woman would knowingly get involved with a married man. I hope Lisa Druck/Rielle Hunter has moved some place where she can get some self esteem and stop chasing men who are married. John Edwards' career is completely over. I can't believe he had the nerve to run for president after cheating on his wife. Shameful.
