Hannah-Beth Jackson was extremely successful as an assemblywoman for our district. She is very capable and knows how to bring home the bacon, unlike Lois Capps and Pedro Nava. The mudslinging leaves a bad taste in everyones mouth, but her record of bringing $$ into her district is terrific. If she loses to Strickland I hope she runs for congress when Capps retires.

To bad high school kids have to pay a $40 lab fee to take an art class. The state should re-prioritize it's art $$.

Todays democrats are more like the old republican party than the current republican party.

Peter Sperling is ahead of the curve and he has the $$ to go there. The NRDC is a big environmental law firm that has an interest in being in control of environmental progress. Too bad they don't support 50% renewable electricity by 2025. They are losing respect on this one by scaring away "Yes" votes with their big brand name. This proposition would give the U.S. an economic jump start. If we don't act we will be buying our electricity from countries that do. Utility Companies want to burn coal for 50 more years before they switch over. This would also help promote electric vehicles.
When you read the fine print it's a very progressive bill.

Shipping eggs from Mexico is expensive. Growers just don't like to be told what to do, even when their behavior is unjustifiable.

How about a machine that gets people to want to vote?

Solar is getting beat up pretty bad right now. The share price of the worlds biggest solar companies have dropped 60%-75%.
If and when the price of oil recovers, solar will be able to get back on it's feet. The demand for energy is dropping big time cause people are broke. If the start-up price for solar could be reduced we would already see huge solar farms.

Don't worry Hannah-Beth. Any other democrat would have gotten slaughtered in that cut-up republican district. You deserve to be in Congress when Lois Capps retires.
