So, you now have low-flow toidies in the ladies’ room [ "Indy Goes Green," June 28]. Kudos. But why just now? Why not 20 years ago when everyone else in the city put in low-flow toilets during the horrible drought of the ’80s? And now you’re considering the “possibility of low-flow urinals?” C’mon Independent! We’ve had an almost record-low rainfall last winter, the world is warming, and you’re just “considering” low-flow urinals? It’s unfathomable to think you didn’t do this many years ago. Water is fast becoming a scarce commodity, and you’ve just been recklessly flushing it away. Disappointing and appalling, to say the least. —Wendy Rogers

Forgive me, but this letter seems snotty, self-righteous and offers no solutions for anything.
Maybe we have to all help each other remember what things to do?
How about asking our restaurants to quit using clamshells and styrofoam and switch to something else? (just 1 idea.)
