I’m a liberal democrat who will probably vote for Tony Strickland rather than Hannah-Beth Jackson because I’m thinking of voting not on the basis of positions, but on the campaign process and I just received a very nasty hit piece from the Jackson campaign. When I’m ready to vote I’ll decide who sent me the least negative (I won’t hold out for most positive) campaign literature for each race and they will get my vote.-Bob Roan

    Bob,
You are being snookered, either that or you are fibbing when you say you are a liberal or any other kind of Democrat. Strickland is a right wing Republican and will adhere to all the policies his party has endorsed for many years. This is not a high school popularity contest. Hannah-Beth Jackson is smart, tough and will be way better for the environment and the people of California. Maybe not the developers and the super wealthy but for most of us she is the best choice. In addition Tony Strickland has run a very deceptive campaign by claiming to be some sort of alternative energy executive. However, as the Ventura Star reported months ago it is a bogus company with no employees and no product. It was formed just to give Strickland some "green" cover. Don't be fooled. Vote for Hannah-Beth jackson

LOL! That's the funniest thing I've read all day.

When you get right down to it, this is how many people think--one reason being party loyalties.

If people really looked deep into the issues, they'd realize their pet political parties are more like the opposition than they realize.

I am voting for the person who sends me the fewest giant cardboard mailings. Strickland is loosing at this point. The "green man" must be cutting down a rain forest for all his fliers. I got 3 yesterday alone.
