Proceeds benefit CALM, the only local nonprofit agency specializing in the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect. The S.B. Trust for Historic Preservation proudly presents their 3rd annual Vinos, Tapas y Arte fundraising event on Saturday, September 27, from 3-6 p.m. at Casa de la Guerra (9 E De La Guerra St.). Several fine restaurants will be donating delicious appetizers, superb wineries will be pouring selections of their finest vintages, and talented area artists will be donating their work for exhibition and sale. The Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital Auxiliary (315 S. Patterson) will host a fund raiser on October 2 and 3 from 7a.m.-5p.m. It is the fabulous $5 jewelry sale! Come view a huge selection of earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, pins, and more. Items are for men, women, and children.
