The Sheriff’s Department has told area news agencies that 14-year-old Goleta resident Christina Veloz-Payne is missing. The girl was last seen by her friends at approximately 8 p.m. on Monday while she was attending the Labor Day fireworks show in Girsh Park. She reportedly told her friends that she was going to walk to her home on San Milano Drive, but has not been seen and has not been heard from since.

Veloz-Payne was last wearing a white T-shirt, a black hoodie, black Dickies shorts, white socks, and black Vans shoes. She is Hispanic, 4’11” tall, 130 lbs, and has brown hair, brown eyes, and a scar on the right side of her head.

Anyone with information about Christina Veloz-Payne’s whereabouts is asked to call the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Department at (805) 681-4168, (805) 681-4150, or (805) 681-4100.
