On Tuesday, October 7, Professor Alfred Moir, the Santa Barbara Museum of Art’s consulting curator of European drawings, will lecture on the life of Pablo Picasso in conjunction with the ongoing Picasso on Paper exhibition. The free talk takes place at 3 p.m. in the museum’s Mary Craig Auditorium (1130 State St.).
Bodies in Motion
Starting Tuesday, October 7, Real Live Movers Collective dancer Matthew Nelson will begin teaching a new, bi-weekly modern dance class at the Santa Barbara Ballet Center (1019 Chapala St. #B) from 9-10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
