Yahoo!With the recent stint of gorgeous weather, folks have been flocking to our seaside hamlet’s fabulous beaches — and we wanted to know what they are wearing. So, for our Beach Style issue, Indy photographer Jen Villa hit the sands taking snapshots of the men, women, and children in their swimming togs enjoying hot fun in the summertime.
Summerland Beach — Kelly Gruendyke is wearing an American Apparel top and So Del Mel bottoms from local designer Sonia De Mello, available at Kate Boutique in Montecito.
Santa Claus Lane — Corey Radis has on a Patagonia swimsuit bought at Mountain Air Sports.
Mesa Lane Beach — Nathanial and son Oliver Hansen. Nathanial is wearing a shirt from Kaui, Hawai‘i, and Banana Republic jeans. Oliver is wearing a Pine Peak outfit, handed down. The bag was purchased locally from a neighbor.
Santa Claus Lane — Michael Wheeler has on a Jamaica Jaxx shirt from Costco. His shades were purchased locally and are Gucci.
Santa Claus Lane — Tyke Camden Eyre in a Quicksilver rash guard and a Sun ’n’ Sand bathing suit, both bought online. His vest is from Goleta’s Costco.
East Beach — Jennifer Waddill and Maria Mayer are wearing mix ’n’ match combos from Beach House and Nordstrom.
Mesa Lane Beach — Maddie Cross and Rachel Teitelbaum are both wearing Abercrombie & Fitch tops and sarongs collected over the years by Rachel’s mom.
Summerland beach — Meg Elum is wearing a Merona cover-up from Target and a hat from Sierra Trading Post
Mesa Lane beach — Kate Liljedahl is wearing an O’Neill suit from Sundance Beach and lying on a towel from music festival Reggae Rising.
Mesa Lane beach — Brandy Sanchez with dog, Kasey. Brandy’s outfit is from Ross Dress for Less.
Summerland beach — Jess Birnbaum is wearing a Volcom suit from S.B.’s Volcom store.
East beach — Lauren Banks is wearing an OndadeMar Suit from Victoria’s Secret.
Summerland beach — Sophia Knight is wearing a homemade T-shirt, brand HPCB, and Rvca shorts bought at their warehouse.
East beach — Portia Sherman is wearing a hat from Old Navy and a Disney suit, a gift from Grandma.
Butterfly beach — Kasey Chester has on a shirt from Caution out of Santa Cruz and shorts from Surf ’n’ Wear.
Mesa Lane beach — Gabriel Kelly is wearing a shirt from a local thrift store and pants purchased in Bolivia.
