Intertwine

Several guest choreographers have collaborated with Artistic Director Kara Stewart and her eclectic and energetic company, Fusion, to create this show. Founded in 2004, Fusion is a young adult company that — true to its name — fuses a variety of styles, including jazz, ballet, modern, and hip-hop, and has presented some arresting works during the past four years. The Sound of Music

Pacific Fusion

Old Spanish Days Fiesta

From La Fiesta Pequena (Little Fiesta), which officially opens Old Spanish Days Thursday evening on the steps of the Mission, to Las Noches de Ronda (Nights of Gaiety) each evening at the Courthouse’s Sunken Gardens, Fiesta offers more flamenco and folkloric dances than one could ever hope to see. It’s time to get down, party, and crack an egg full of confetti over someone’s head (but maybe not while they’re onstage). Wed., July 30-Sun., Aug. 3. Various locations in Santa Barbara.
