The Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation and City of Hope are holding a bone marrow drive at the Big Dog Parade at Chase Palm Park on Cabrillo Boulevard this Saturday, June 7, to try and find matches for children with cancer in the tri-counties. Testing requires a Q-tip swab of your cheek cells and takes only three minutes, but it could help save lives! Look for the bright yellow T-shirts at the Canine Festival starting at 10:30 a.m. at the park. Call 962-7466 for more info.

Hula Anyone’s director Angelita Eller is starting Pacific Fusion, a monthly dinner and entertainment night, in conjunction with Santa Barbara Inn (901 E. Cabrillo Blvd.), to help her small business stay afloat after 30 years of dance education in Santa Barbara. The first Saturday of every month (June 7 this month), enjoy Polynesian food, dance, music, and culture while supporting a great local program! RSVP for ticket info to 451-0707.

The Boys & Girls Club on the Westside (602 W. Anapamu St.) is hosting a Texas Hold ’Em Poker Tournament on Saturday, June 7, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. to help benefit their youth programs. Tickets cost $125-$150, and participants can play to win amazing prizes like entry into a satellite tournament, VIP Dodgers tickets, and the Apple iPod Touch. Email wsbgcpoker@gmail.com or call 966-2811 for more info.
