For the 18th year in a row, the diverse and talented members of the Ojai Band are hosting weekly concerts in the park at Libbey Park (at Ojai Ave. and Signal St.). Grab the kiddies and head on down for balloons, popcorn, and delightful tunes under the gazebo. Band director Mario Boccali has arranged programs ranging from patriotic Souza marches to Broadway show tunes and other sonic delights for this 40-plus member band comprised of Ojai students, doctors, lawyers, and teachers. The concerts will play from 7:30-9 p.m. every Wednesday until August 20. Don’t miss out! Call the Rotary at 646-3794 for more info.
