Taking her inspiration from Willy Wonka, owner Wendy Jones has opened Sprinkled Pink Cupcake Couture on Montecito's Coast Village Road to bring imaginative confectionery treats to her customers.

Sprinkled Pink Cupcake Couture

These pillowy frosted wonders ($3.50 a pop) are blinged out with rock candy, gumdrops, cookie crumbles, or edible glitter. Perhaps the most popular of the creatively designed bunch is The Whipper Snapper, a vanilla or chocolate cupcake with a moist cookie dough center. Whimsical recipes include the Waffleicious (buttery cinnamon cupcake with maple syrup butter cream frosting), the Oompa Loompa (red velvet cupcake with orange butter cream frosting and green sprinkles), the Foo Foo La La (vanilla cupcake with hot pink sprinkles and topped with a dancing ballerina), and the Vanilla Dream (vanilla cupcake topped with butter cream frosting, edible glitter, and a pink gumdrop).

Send or receive month after month of cupcakes by joining the Cupcake of the Month Club (3 months, $126). Sprinkled Pink also delivers, caters, and provides the fixings for cupcake decorating parties.
