Description: Vancouver, BC acoustic rock band Mojave is kicking off their 2008 US Fall
Tour! Music is first and foremost for the band, but they believe in giving back and leaving the planet better than they found it. The band has released a limited edition of their debut album, Stories, in an environmentally friendly package before they head into the studio to record their sophomore album early next year.
A charity close to their heart is the Stillpointe Llama Santuary in Washington State, where they have adopted a rescued llama named Starman. A dollar from every CD sold goes directly to the sanctuary, where there are almost 30 llamas that have all been rescued from abusive situations.
