Description: This year’s theme, Identity & Community, explores through visual expressions, the ever-evolving nature of personal identity, with compelling results and insight into the contemporary adolescent experience.
The Visual Art and Design Academy (VADA) at Santa Barbara High School
is a school-within-a school that integrates college preparatory coursework
with career-focused art instruction. VADA students participate in a unique
experience in which teachers, students, parents and the community join
together to provide young adults with a valuable academic and artistic
foundation they will carry with them the rest of their lives.
